In the center of Pula, on top of a hill is located the Venetian fortress – Castle. Built in the 17th century and designed by the French architect Antoine de Ville, today, within its walls is located The Historical and Maritime Museum of Istria. The fortress offers a magnificent view of the city of Pula and the city’s bay.
